About Abundant

Abundant Spirit Global Empowerment Center (ASGEC) is located in the heart of South Jackson, in the capital city of Mississippi, and has a heartfelt urgency from God to make a difference by empowering everyday, ordinary people to become agents of change in their communities and our society at large. We recognize that there is greatness in every individual and are committed to unleashing that greatness for the glory of God and the advancement of His kingdom in the earth. While we share a vision for global empowerment, we recognize that we must first start at home. Love always starts at home before being spreading abroad. This is the apostolic pattern set for the church dating back to the first century church birthed on the Day of Pentecost in Jerusalem. ASGEC is one of a collaborative of churches and organizations that recognizes that the foundation for city, regional and global transformation must be the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His Kingdom presented in relevant, practical ways.

ASGEC is a church designed to help you find and fulfill your purpose in life. God has uniquely-designed us so that true fulfillment only comes when we are accomplishing His purpose for our lives. There is no substitute…No matter how hard we work to find one. We might “fool ourselves” for awhile and believe that we are fulfilled, but it’s only a trick; we deceive ourselves. And, unfortunately, we and often our families and friends as well, suffer greatly for it. The leadership at ASGEC believes and teaches that no life is without purpose. It does not matter how “messed up” a person’s life might appear to be. That very same individual could be God’s best kept secret just waiting for an appointment with destiny. Who knows, that individual could be you.

The day of churches relying solely on their individual strength and vision alone has long past. In this season, God’s move will rest on those ministries that can put aside petty differences and embrace a higher call to purpose – a purpose that requires us to unite visions, resources, abilities and gifts to cause long-awaited change to become a present reality. In short, ASGEC is about mobilizing people to have an Abundant Spirit, a spirit that no longer settles for less but that is always expecting God’s best and that recognizes that together in unity we can do more than we ever could alone. Empowered by the Gospel of Jesus Christ, our mission is to “Mobilize an Abundant Spirit within people to prove what is acceptable unto the Lord.”

Our Beliefs

In one God - God the Father, Son and Holy Ghost whereby Jesus is the manifested Lord.

We know that through praise and worship we are showing our love and appreciation toward God and, in addition, establishing faith in Him. Abundant Spirit Ministries will express praise and worship through the following:
